Venezuela 1864 "coat of arms"

Price
$45.00

We revised this Venezuelan 1864 coat of arms to a beautiful oil paint that holds its ground with the weight of symbolism it carries.

Key Elements & Meanings:

Shield Divisions:
Red (Left): A sheaf of wheat with stalks representing the states, symbolizing unity and wealth.

Yellow (Right): Crossed swords, lances, a bow, arrows, machete, and two flags entwined by a laurel wreath, signifying triumph in war.

Blue (Bottom): A white, untamed horse galloping left (dexter side), symbolizing liberty and independence (linked to Bolívar's horse, Palomo).

Above the Shield: Two crossed cornucopias overflowing with fruits and flowers, representing abundance.

Around the Shield: An olive branch (peace) and a palm branch (victory) tied at the bottom with a ribbon bearing the words "Independencia y Libertad, Dios y Federacion".
